The clinic's developmental paediatrician is Dr. Seán J. Fennell.
Dr. Fennell graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1969. He obtained his paediatric training in Canada and the United States, and has held professorial positions in the United States. He is "Board Certified" by the American Board of Pediatrics, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
For the past fourteen years, Dr. Fennell has been a Consultant Developmental Pediatrician with the United States Army in Europe. In this position he cared for and treated numerous children with a variety of developmental disorders, including Specific Learning Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Pervasive Developmental Disorders including Autism and Asperger's Disorder, and developmental delays.
We anticipate having a clinical child psychologist, speech language pathologist, and occupational therapist fairly soon, so that the clinic's team can work together with parents and teachers for the benefit of the child with special needs.
